DriftHangout is built for the drift community. These guidelines keep the platform welcoming, trustworthy, and safe.

Respect

  • Treat all community members with respect
  • No harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation
  • No discrimination on grounds of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
  • Constructive criticism of events and organizers is welcome; personal attacks are not

Honesty

  • Event listings must accurately represent the event
  • Reviews and ratings must reflect genuine experiences
  • No fake accounts, fake reviews, or inflated ratings
  • Do not misrepresent your identity, vehicle, or qualifications

Safety

  • Do not promote illegal street racing or unlicensed road activity
  • All events listed must be at venues where the activity is permitted
  • Do not share location data of private/unauthorized venues
  • Report unsafe events or behavior to us immediately
  • Follow event-specific safety rules set by organizers

Content

  • No explicit, violent, or illegal content
  • No copyright-infringing content
  • Vehicle photos must be of your own vehicle
  • No spam, self-promotion, or commercial solicitation outside designated vendor areas

Consequences

  • Warning for first-time minor violations
  • Temporary suspension (7–30 days) for repeated or moderate violations
  • Permanent ban for severe violations (threats, fraud, illegal activity)
  • Organizer status revoked for listing fraudulent events
  • Appeals: email community@drifthangout.com within 14 days of action
